Former Girls' Generation member Jessica is making her return to the music scene as a solo artist.

According to a music insider, Jessica has been working on her album since late 2014 until recently. She has already finished recording most of the songs and the release date for the album is currently being discussed internally. However, the name of the album and the title song are not yet confirmed. 

Jessica's side responded later on Feb. 25, confirming the initial statement. "It is true that she is currently working on it, but the date of her comeback has not been decided yet." 

"However, the album is not completed yet," they added, expressing that her comeback may take longer than expected. 

This comeback has been in the works for quite a while. In an interview given by Jessica during a magazine photoshoot.

"I want to give a gift to my fans that have been waiting for so long. I'm currently preparing it and am extremely excited about it," the celebrity entrepreneur said.

Jessica has expressed her wishes to balance both working as a designer and pursuing activities as a celebrity. She has also been in talks to become the host of KBS N's "Beauty Bible" variety program.
