Jessica Szohr brought her bestie Nina Dobrev and not her boyfriend to Oscar party. Since her TV show got cancelled, Jessica Szohr was probably trying to shmooze with the movers and shakers of the film business. She was even seen talking to Oscar-winning "Spotlight" producer at the party!

"Nina Dobrev, Jessica Szohr, and Jessica Stam meet up while attending Spotlight producer Michael Sugar's pre-Oscar party at the Sunset Tower Hotel on Saturday (Febraury 27) in West Hollywood, Calif," according to Just Jared.

Maybe the reason why Jessica took Nina Dobrev was because her boyfriend Scotty McKnight wasn't interested in hanging with the film industry people.

She recently celebrated his birthday publicly on Instagram, showing the world that they may be headed towards wedding!

She wrote on her Instagram, "HaPPy BirthDay @scotty_mcknight ... Thank you for always making me laugh! Well... for making everyone laugh around you!! You are so wonderful in every way:) keep shining and doing your thang:))))"

While this message is absolutely adorable, this doesn't mean that Jessica Szohr is neglecting her female friends.

While the "Gossip Girl" actress is totally in love with her boyfriend Scotty McKnight, she does hold her friends near and dear.

According to J-14, "Jessica Szohr, who most famously starred in the Gossip Girls series, is madly in love with her boyfriend Scotty McKnight - and it shows. They've been dating since April, and the actress recently posted a photo in silhouette of herself in her guy's arms. Isn't it the cutest?!"

The actress has been with Scotty McKnight since April of last year and it looks like things are going well.
