In a recent interview, YG artist Lee Hi expressed her dissatisfaction with the company's dating ban. 

In an interview with TV Report on March 14, Lee Hi dished on dating in YG, her own personal relationship past, and more.

When Lee Hi debuted in YG Entertainment at age 18, CEO Yang Hyun Suk banned her from dating. Lee Hi brought this up in the interview, stating that she just had a conversation with him about the issue not long ago.

"I performed as a guest at Winner's concert yesterday, and afterwards we all went to eat dinner together," she began. "While there, Yang Hyun Suk suddenly said to me, 'You know what happens if you date, right?'"

Lee Hi continued her story, saying, "I thought that he would give me permission once I turned 20, but I was wrong. Judging from the atmosphere, it seemed like he didn't want me to date."

"I want to try new experiences, but it seems like I'll have to wait a bit longer," Lee Hi revealed, with a slight smile.

Lee Hi then shared that the YG chief had caught other people dating within the company before. "In the past, there was a couple who were caught after dating in secret. I want to ask them what happens if you get caught." 

"I have to date too," she stated. "I've never even been close to having a relationship."

"I don't really identify with songs that have relationships as the subject," said Lee Hi, expressing her inexperience in relationships. 

"I've never been asked on a date. I wish someone would ask for my number and contact me," she coyly added.
