Eric Nam's partner on the imaginary marriage program "We Got Married" has finally been selected.

Previously, both Hyosung of Secret and Solar of Mamamoo were in talks to join the MBC program as the next couple. However, MBC has now confirmed that Eric Nam (28) will be partnered with Solar (25) of girl idol group Mamamoo. 

According to the program producers, filming for the new couple began on April 2, and episodes of them will air shorty after. Eric Nam and Solar will replace the currently airing couple of Kim So Yeon and Kwak Shi Yang, who have been on the program since late 2015. 

A broadcast industry insider commented on the pairing, stating, "Both of them have light-hearted, bubbly personalties and do not have any anti-fans. In addition, both of them are popular singers, so we believe that will help them get along better." 

Meanwhile, both Eric Nam and Solar have both been busy with singing activites. Eric Nam recently released his album "Interview," which was met with wide acclaim. Mamamoo's most recent release, "You're The Best," topped charts upon release.
