‘Shokugeki No Soma’ Manga Chapter 163 Recap: The Battle Is On!

"Shokugeki no Soma" manga chapter 163 is now available in Manga Here.

In the previous chapter of "Shokugeki no Soma," Eishi Tsukasa wanted Yukihira Soma to join the Central so he challenged him on a one-on-one battle for the exchange of his position.

Soma was asking Eishi if he was serious about his proposal especially the when the first seat of the Elite Ten Council was at stake. Because of his eagerness, he keeps asking Eishi the theme of their battle regardless of whatever proposition Eishi might make.

Although he doesn't want to join the Central, he recklessly accepted the challenge. Besides, he also wanted to know whether he can beat him or not.

Hence, Eishi suggested the use of venison since their class was supposed to utilize it and it was already prepared beforehand. Soma then recommended that they cook it in French style and the battle started.

As Soma was thinking about what food he will prepare, he remembered the taste of Eishi's food back in the Moon festival and how it made a big impression on him. However, he is confident enough to fight him because he studied under Shinomiya and learned a lot of things from him. Moreover, Shinomiya was an expert of French cuisine.

However, Eishi started his preparation skillfully using the back's meat. He even cooked it carefully without missing the slightest detail of preparation. It was like he was communicating with the ingredients and made the food on a whole different level.

After observing Eishi, Soma asked about the Central's goal. Eishi reveals that the true goal of Central is to shut down all the restaurants in Japan that is not worthy. Apparently, they don't care about the small stores and other business outlets that usually cater to the common people. When Soma heard this, he was even more determined to beat Eishi.

The next chapter of "Shokugeki no Soma" manga will probably feature what kind of dish Soma will make.
