The Nintendo NX release date is said to be coming next year, in 2017. Will the console include "Pokémon Sun and Moon?"

According to Design&Trend, the Nintendo NX release date may happen by next year. Apparently, a triple-A developer has leaked the console's specs and possible launch.

The Redditor claimed that the Nintendo NX release date will not be happening this year. It could be available in the market by 2017, though.

"No, not unless it comes out in December," Reddit user stimpak_vendor wrote when asked whether the Nintendo NX release date will be this year. "It's far from ready, because most devs only just got their devkits."

JNH previously reported that the Nintendo NX controller design was leaked by the Redditor. It was said that the console does not have an oval screen but a standard rectangle. It also has physical buttons but no touchscreen with haptic feedback.

The Nintendo NX controller design has scroll wheel shoulder buttons. In addition, it also has two regular shoulder buttons: ZL and ZR as well as a headphone jack in the bottom.

The Nintendo NX release date could be revealed this April during the company's investor's meeting. This comes before the E3 2016 scheduled this June.

NeoGAF insider Orgen has confirmed that fans will "get more NX info before E3." "I think (and now this is personal opinion) it'll be more related to a full reveal than a 'we're working on it and we'll see more at E3' so that's why I said that I don't know if this new info will be in the briefing meeting or a separate direct," he wrote.

In another report by Design&Trend, it was leaked that one of the two titles for "Pokémon Sun and Moon" will be released exclusively for Nintendo NX. It is said to have "MMO-like" features. The game is slated for release on the 3DS this year.
