Camera is one of the most looked at feature in a smartphone. With the Apple iPhone 6 Plus and Samsung Galaxy Note 4 reportedly carrying the best cameras in a phone today, which phone has the better specs?

A never-ending debate between Apple and Samsung continues as the two companies try to outdo the other. Now their flagship phablets go head to head.

GSM Arena did a hardware specs comparison of both smartphones showing which device should be crowned king.
First with its display screens. The Apple phone has a 5.5-inch LED-backlit IPS LCD, capacitive touchscreen, very different from what its previous generations have. The biggest screen from an iPhone yet supports 1080 x 1920 pixels of resolution and is protected with a shatterproof glass with oleophobic coating.

On the other hand, the Samsung phone has a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen that supports 1440 x 2560 pixels of resolution and is protected by the latest Corning Gorilla Glass 4.

It becomes even more different when looking at the inside of both phones. The iPhone 6 Plus runs on the latest iOS and has the most powerful A8 chip so far, a Dual-core 1.4 GHz Cyclone CPU and a PowerVR GX6450 GPU that provides quad-core graphics.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy Note 4 could run on the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset, a Quad-core 2.7 GHz Krait 450 CPU and an Adreno 420 GPU.

With regard to the memory, the iPhone 6 Plus has an option of a 16, 64 or 128 GB of storage that is powered by 1 GB of RAM.

Fans, meanwhile, claim that 1 GB of RAM for the iPhone is enough as it supports the phone fully and upgrading the RAM for now wouldn't do anything significant.

The Galaxy Note 4 has a 32 GB built in memory powered by 3 GB of RAM and an expandable storage of up to 128 GB via the micro SD slot.

Looking at the specs of the camera, it is starting to look like the Note 4 takes the lead on paper.

The iPhone carries an 8 MP primary camera that has optical image stabilization, phase detection autofocus and a dual LED dual tone flash. Meanwhile the Galaxy phone has a 16 MP primary camera that also has optical image stabilization, autofocus and an LED flash.
The Apple gadget has a 1/3 inch sensor size, geo-tagging, simultaneous HD video and image recording, touch focus, face and smile detection and HDR feature. The Samsung device almost has the same features as it has dual Shot, Simultaneous HD video and image recording, geo-tagging, touch focus, face and smile detection, panorama and HDR.

The iPhone 6 Plus could take 1080p at 60 frames per second videos at best, while the Galaxy Note 4 has 2160p at 30 frames per second support.
