IOI holds their first 'Very Very Very' stage on special comeback show
IOI is a Korean girl group whose members all came from a reality show called "Produce 101".
Following IOI's promotions as a seven-member group for single "Whatta Man", the popular girl group made headlines with news of their comeback as a full team this October.
YMC Entertainment, IOI's interim management agency announced and confirmed last August 30th that the girls will be coming back on the second week of October. Hit producer Rhymer was mentioned to be producing two of the songs in the girls' album, which increased the fan's anticipations.
Two days ago, on October 16th, IOI finally released their comeback song and music video for title track, "Very Very Very", which presents a colorful and adorable concept from the girls that is not really that different from their previous song, "Whatta Man".
Koreaboo previously reported that the fans could not help but feel heartbroken after seeing the mysterious message in the official lyrics of IOI's "Very Very Very" title song.
The lyrics, which saddened the fans, go as follows:
"Miss you very, very, very much
We're now going to play a long game of hide and seek
No matter where we hide, even if we hide too long and you want to give up
Please don't give up and remember us
And come find us"
To the fans' delight earlier today, the comeback stage on the girl group's highly anticipated return as a complete group was finally revealed via a special show aired on MNet. They were greeted with a video of the IOI members' meeting with JYP Entertainment's Park Jin Young as they practiced their choreography and so much more, according to AllKpop.
A part of the video showed the girl group performing their title track so the fans got a feel of how the song's choreography will be like live.
