"Drinking Solo" will end its episode next week, airing two episodes on Monday to Tuesday, Oct. 24 and 25. Approaching the finale, the climax starts to build up.

Director Kim's effort to arrange two of lecturers in the academy, whom he called gyosu-nim or professor to date. Professor Hwang and professor Min gradually become closer ater the company outing in last episode. Meanwhile relationship between Park Ha-Na and the top lecturer Jo Jung-Sok faced challenges, there is possibility that they will break up.

In his academy, director Kim insist to call his lecturer using the respected title gyosu-nim (담탱), which means 'professor' instead of sonsaeng-nim (선생님) or 'lecturer.' He believes it will elevate the quality of his academy and drawing more students.

This week episode may be the determining factor to test Jung-Sok's love for Ha-Na. Whether his love is real or just a short fling. Ha-Na also finds out that his favorite student Gyong-Mung is the younger brother of his boyfriend.

The drama tells the story about recent cultural change in Korean people. Many people in Korea now starts to drink alone according to report from Yonhap News Agency. Traditionally, Korean people consider someone who drink alone as an outcast of the community. But lately there is a tendency of young people in big city to drink alone.

"Drinking Solo" has successfully captured the new phenomena of drinking solo in Korea, or 혼자술 (Hyonjasol). It has been proven by gaining an average of 4.7 percent viewer rating in Nielsen Korea as reported by SE Daily. The drama is ranked 1st in the cable TV channel program based on Nielsen Korea rating system.

In cable channel TV, viewer's rating is generally lower than that of the public broadcasters. Compare to public station like KBS, SBS or MBC, rating in cable TV is generally measured four times smaller. Therefore, a 5 percent viewership rating in able TV is equivalent to 20 percent rating in public TV.

"Drinking Solo" airs every Monday and Tuesday at 11:00 p.m. KST (GMT+9) on tvN. International viewer can also watch the drama via the designated cable channel provider in the respective country, or through streaming channel.
