When it comes to K-Pop, there is definitely no name bigger than BIGBANG and Girls' Generation. Hailing from two of the biggest entertainment companies in South Korea: YG Entertainment and SM Entertainment, these two groups are the most successful K-Pop groups in the world. No one would argue that they are the kings and queens of the K-Pop world.

Through their unique music and incredible talent, both BIGBANG and Girls' Generation have amassed two of the biggest fan bases in K-Pop, and probably the world. Just recently, these two groups both have achieved something that would truly delight their fans. VIPs and SONEs rejoice because BIGBANG's MV for their song "Bad Boy" and Girls' Generation's MV for "Oh" have both finally reached the 100 million mark on YouTube.

According to Allkpop, Girls' Generation's music video for "Oh" has hit over 100 million views and had thus become the fifth GG music video to achieve such a feat. Furthermore, Girls' Generation is the first and only girl group to have five music videos with over 100 million views which definitely proves how popular the girl group is. Although it might have taken seven years for "Oh" to amass over 100 million hits, it should also be noted how different it was back in 2010 as compared to 2016. In 2010, there aren't as much K-Pop fans as there are now and YouTube was just beginning to pick up speed when it came to K-Pop during that particular year. One should also consider the fact that Girls' Generation were basically inactive this 2016 as a group and the fact that they could still accumulate such views means that their popularity has only grown and has never waned.

Other Girls' Generation MVs that had reached over 100 million views are "I Got a Boy", "Gee", "The Boys" and "Mr. Taxi."

Meanwhile for BIGBANG, "Bad Boy" is also basically their fifth music video to reach over 100 million views if you would include G-Dragon and Taeyang's collaboration "Good Boy." BIGBANG's MV for "Blue" is also about to reach a hundred million views along with G-Dragon's "Crooked."

Besides "Bad Boy", BIGBANG's other MVs that had reached over 100 million views are "Fantastic Baby", "Bang Bang Bang", "Loser" and "Good Boy."

Also, BIGBANG had just released their latest album "MADE" and as reported by Soompi, it has already dominated both domestic and global charts!
