Lee Hyori Reveals The Title Song From Her New Album 'Monochrome' At Tuesday Taping For Comeback TV Special [VIDEO]

"Miss Korea" singer Lee Hyori revealed the title song from her fifth album on Tuesday, at the taping for her "2Hyori" television special to be aired on South Korean station Mnet on May 22.

Hyori's new album, entitled "Monochrome" is slated for release the same day.

"For this filming, Lee Hyori is preparing a show unlike any regular comeback shows," a representative from the singer's record label B2M Entertainment said on Monday.

"You'll be able to see a never-before-seen special stage only Lee Hyori can do."

And the label is apparently hoping that those who attended Tuesday's taping at the Korea International Exhibition Center in Ilsanseo-gu, Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea will keep their mouths shut about what they saw.

The label forced all attendees to sign confidentiality agreements, promising not to discuss what they saw, according to CJ E&M enewsWorld.

Last week, B2M executives announced that "Monochrome" is to be offered in two different releases, both containing the album's 16 tracks, a standard version and a deluxe edition.

A limited run of 5,000 copies, the deluxe edition of "Monochrome" will feature an additional photo spread.

And what about K-pop's most elegant diva?

"Lee Hyori is ready," the B2M Entertainment rep said.

And not just ready for her comeback, but also ready to lend a hand to the causes that are meaningful to her, like kindness to animals.

Last week, Hyori showed up at a pet event at the Beaker Cheongdam flagship store, with her dog Soon Shim.

"Profits from the Beaker Pet [store are used to buy] 1 kilogram of pet food for every 10,000 purchased, and the pet food will later be donated to a pound," an event official explained.

"Though she was busy preparing for her album, Lee Hyori still found time to participate and show her love."

A former member of the girl group Fin.K.L., Hyori has had a successful solo career, becoming the highest-paid female in South Korea in 2006 after signing a lucrative contract with Mnet Media.

Hyori's new single "Miss Korea" and the accompanying video is pure understated class, as the singer reaches back into the jazz songbook to rewrite the rules on how a K-pop song can sound.
