Day6 Shares ‘I Wait’ MV Teaser

JYP Entertainment's band, DAY6, has revealed their music video teaser for "I Wait" comeback.

Allkpop has reported that JYP Entertainment had previously announced that the band is going to be very active this year. Day6 is starting their activity with the release of "I Wait" music video teaser.

The music video teaser opens with solo shots of the members looking angry and sad.  There are also soft colors in the background that matches the soft beginning of the song. During the chorus, a powerful rock performance by the boys in front of a flashing psychedelic light display. It leaves a strong impression, both aurally and visually.

"I Wait" sounds a bit different from their previous releases. It sounded more rock and upbeat than their first few songs. Fans are really excited to hear new song from the band.

According to Soompi, Day6 will release a song every month. JYP Entertainment has called it "Every DAY6." "I Wait" will be their very first song for the series and for this month. JYP Entertainment even released the boy band's whole schedule for the year 2017.

It looks like JYP Entertainment has finally decided to up their game and will promote DAY6 this year. With this news, all of Day6 fans are celebrating. One fan on YouTube commented, "This gonna be Day6's year JYP please promote them there are many shows they need to go to T_T."

DAY6 last comeback and release was in March 2016 and it was with pop rock ballad "Letting Go." They did not really promote on music shows as JYP Entertainment is trying a different approach for the band. They only promote with busking and performances on radio shows.

Looks like JYP Entertainment has changed their decision. The full song "I Wait" will be released on January 6 at 12 a.m., Korean time.
