Former F-ve Dolls member Chanmi called out by netizens for racism

A former K-pop girl group member Heo Chanmi is losing her fans and has now been banned by international netizens for showing racism online. The post that was supposedly about her, simply wronged by a fan's comment.

According to Soompi, the ex-F-ve Dolls member, Chanmi has recently posted on her Instagram account a video clip of two gorillas sweating hard while eating bananas. The K-pop newbie caption the picture "Gorillas on diet." The controversial post went fine somehow, as one would thought she might just be telling her fans that she's on hard diet with the help of "banana" as it is known to be the most common diet partner.

But eventually, the conflict started when a user named spectressnsd commented on Heo Chanmi's post "The Obama's.." and the singer marked it with a "Like", which fumes netizens as it seems she affirms to the comment, well in fact, it was obviously a bad idea. Several netizens replied on her post, "Say goodbye to the career that you never had racist loser, "racist", "Racist b***slit your wrists,." Eventually, Chanmi's Instagram account is already blocked, allkpop reported.

Chanmi was a former member of an all girl-group F-ve Dolls, also known as 5D. The girl group officially part ways when their contracts expired and were not renewed. F-ve Dolls was originally a female version group of Co-Ed and SPEED as the male-group. When Co-Ed was gone, F-ve Dolls was officially launched with Chanmi as one of the members.

The K-pop star is now under the management of DubleKick Entertainment. And it's quite a rough start of the year for Chanmi, as the promising star has not yet to make her comeback with her new female group, she is already having negative vibes to the netizens.

The young star is now a contestant of Mnet's idol trainee survival show, "Produce 101". And she is facing another controversy about malicious editing on the show. The singer's family claims that Heo Chanmi has been a victim of "devil's editing" when during the show, the part when she says she is having vocal chord nodules problem was cut and the part when she had so many mistakes were the ones that were kept on playing.
