Several speculations have surfaced in the ongoing legal battle of singer Yoo Seung Joon. It has been reported that he has indeed lost the lawsuit of his second and final trial held in Feb. 23. Accordingly, Judge Kim of Seoul's Supreme Court dismissed Yoo Seung Joon's appeal. Yoo Seung Joon's visa is denied and he has restricted him from entering Korea.

In Sept. 2015, as reported by Allkpop, the singer requested an overseas visa through the Consult General's office in LA. His request, however, was rejected. Accordingly, a representative of Yoo Seung Joon stated that for the past 14 years his visa application continues to get declined.

The first trial was held in Sept. 2016, wherein his petition was turned down. The judge at that time reportedly commented that if Yoo Seung Joon is allowed to enter and resume his entertainment activities, many of the Korean military personnel will be deeply affected by his actions.

Meanwhile, it was also reported that Yoo Seung Joon applied for a U.S citizenship in Jan. 2002. He also pleaded several times saying he would serve in the military. Now it seems he is permanently banned from even filing an appeal.

According to Wikipedia, Yoo Seung Joon is one of the biggest selling artists in Korean history, selling over 5 million records. His career in South Korea ended in 2002 because of controversies about his mandatory military service. He was notorious for his high-energy dancing style, rapping, and singing ability.

When he was thirteen Yoo Seung Joon's family moved to the United States and settled in California. He made demo tapes of his rapping and dance skills and provided copies to Brothers Entertainment. He was eventually recruited and left California to start his career as a singer in Korea.

Yoo Seung Joon became infamous as the first high-profile individual to have done draft dodging in Korean history. Banned from South Korea, he initiated an acting career in China.
