On Si Woo reportedly has recently apologized for his controversy involving comedienne Lee Guk Joo. In Mar. 21 the rookie actor posted an apology on his Instagram saying that he did not anticipate the problem. He further added that he realized he should take responsibility for causing the big controversy. In the future, he said that he will be cautious with his words.

"I want to deeply apologize to Lee Guk Joo and to all those who have been hurt by what I said," On Si Woo accordingly also posted on his Instagram. According to Allkpop, the actor confessed that he is the nameless super rookie who was apparently trying hard to become an actor. On Si Woo allegedly gained attention as he publicly criticized Lee Kuk Ju for sexually harassing male celebrities. However, he denied the accusations that he tried to gain fame through the controversy.

On Si Woo reportedly posted previously a comment on a subscriber's Facebook link allegedly saying that even if Lee Guk Joo is paid 10 billion won she will not work with the subscriber. Accordingly, the actor also criticized Lee Guk Joo on the feature regarding her plan to take action against malicious critics. He said that she should have been sued ten times already for her behavior towards male celebrities.
