F.T. Island To Release New Album For Its 10th Anniversary

Good news for every K-Rock fan out there. The king of Korean rock, F.T. Island reportedly will be making its comeback this year. The band is preparing a series of exciting surprises to celebrate its 10th anniversary.

According to a report from Allkpop, F.T. Island is ready to kick off with its brand new music on June, the same month they debuted 10 years ago. A representative from F.T. Island label, FNC Entertainment, stated that the band is gearing up for their comeback. However, the label didn't feel like to give any details regarding the album or special events they're arranging for the comeback. FNC Entertainment makes sure if anything is certain, it will make an announcement.

F.T. Island has most of its band activities in Japan. On March 29, Koogle TV reported, F.T. Island has released a new music video for their Japanese song "Shadows". The boys showed their perfect performance in the video. Lee Hong Ki's powerful vocal makes the track even more empowering. F.T. Island's 7th Japanese album titled "United Shadows" was released on April 12.

Besides gearing up for its new release in Korea on June, the band is also set to perform at the "2017 Korea-Japan Super Rock Great Meeting", as per Korea Herald. The event will be held on July 1 at Jangchung Gymnasium, Seoul.  Other rock bands that will be performing at the super rock event such as Korean band Eve, Miyavi, Spyair, and Comodo Dragon.

Choi Jong Hoon, Lee Hong Ki, Lee Jae Jin, Song Seung Hyun and Choi Min Hwan debuted as F.T. Island on June 7, 2007. The band's first album "Cheerful Sensibility" quickly brought F.T. Island to major fame with hit tracks like "Lovesick", which topped several K-Music charts, "Pray", and "Take Me Now". F.T. Island's comeback on June will surely be something that is worth waiting for.
