The Song Song couple Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo from KBS's "Descendants of the Sun" have not yet confirmed dating rumors even months after the end to their hit drama. However, fresh reports indicate that the couple could be headed for a breakup. Jealousy is being tagged as a culprit to the relationship's demise.

According to a report by Korea Portal, rumors are swirling that Song Joong Ki was disappointed about his loss to "Goblin" star Gong Yoo as best actor in the recently concluded Drama Fever awards. The "Descendants of the Sun" actor was reportedly jealous that he did not get the award opposite Song Hye Kyo, who won for best actress for DOTS.

It can be recalled that Gong Yoo took the award for Best Actor, Song Hye Kyo took the award for Best Actress while "Goblin" stars Lee Dong Wook and Yoo In Na were able to bag the best supporting actor and actor and actress awards respectively. Unfortunately, rumors suggest that Song Joong Ki was not too happy with this development triggering the breakup.

While there has been no real confirmation of whether Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo really started dating after filming "Descendants of the Sun", rumors never stopped linking them together. The good relationship that developed from the set seemed to be the fans' cue that something more is going on in real life. They also remained supportive of each other after the drama ended, surprising each other at fan meetings.  

Most recently, an interview with W Korea where Song Joong Ki was quoted as saying that he would like to build his own family and become a good father someday has triggered a wedding frenzy among Song Song couple shippers. Fans were quick to point out a recent post showing Song Hye Kyo with kids as a sign that the actress is already ready to start a family of her own, Kpopstarz reported.
