BTS Achieves Another Great Feat In Japan With 'Blood, Sweat, & Tears'

BTS just set a new record in Japan. The Bangtan Boys just became the first foreigner group in Japan to sell over 200,000 album copies.

As reported by All Kpop, BTS achieved another amazing feat in their career. Their Japanese single "Blood, Sweat, & Tears" garnered almost 240,000 Oricon albums sales.

Similarly, BTS' "Blood, Sweat, & Tears" grabbed the No. 1 spot on Oricon's Weekly Single Chart. They also placed No. 1 at the Oricon Daily Chart.

They are the first foreign group in Japan to exceed 200,000 album sales at the Oricon charts. BTS first made their Japanese debut in 2014 with "No More Dream.

Not only did BTS rank No. 1 at the Oricon Weekly single Chart, but they also recorded the second highest album sales compared to other foreign artists in Japan. BTS also ranked No. 1 in the iTunes charts across 13 nations.

In other news, BTS' agency Big Hit Entertainment posted a safety message for the group's international fans. As reported by SBS, the message was uploaded on the agency's official Twitter account on Monday, May 15.

Big Hit Entertainment's message was uploaded in four different languages: English, Korean, Chinese, and Japanese. The message contained the agency's warnings towards overly-obsessive BTS fans.

Apparently, some BTS fans found flight information illegally. The said flight was heading for Las Vegas, Nevada as the Bangtan Boys were nominated at the Billboard Music Awards.

According to the agency, some fans invaded the boys' privacy by booking seats near them just to get pictures. Because of this, BTS members have suffered great mental and physical stress.

"We hereby ask for your understanding and cooperation to help BTS to successfully and safely finish the intended schedule for BBMAs in the US," said Big Hit Entertainment. Ultimately, the agency asked fans to stop obtaining BTS' privacy in airplanes/airports.

The Billboard Music Awards will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada on Monday, May 21. BTS have been nominated for the Billboard category "Top Social Artist" along with Ariana Grande, Shawn Mendez, and Justin Bieber.
