BTS To Have Brother Group? Big Hit Entertainment CEO Bang Si Hyuk Discuss The Possibility in Recent Interview

Will BTS have a brother group pretty soon? Big Hit Entertainment's CEO Bang Si Hyuk thinks of the possibility in a recent interview.

Just recently, Big Hit Entertainment's CEO Bang Si Hyuk has conducted an interview. According to Koreaboo, the CEO talked about the future of the company and as well as the possibility of forming a brother group to BTS.

CEO Bang Si Hyuk first spoke about BTS forming a separate unit. "There is always the possibility of BTS promoting as a unit. But the members' decision and opinion are very important," said the Big Hit Entertainment CEO. The CEO further added that BTS is currently focusing on promoting the band as a whole.

Bang Si Hyuk then discussed the possibility of forming a brother group to BTS. According to him, this news is unfortunately not confirmed so far.

"We do have male trainees but I don't know what will happen yet," said Bang Si Hyuk. The CEO also clarified the rumors he saw bout BTS having a "sister" group, and stated that they currently have no female trainees in the company - thus disproving the rumors.

To end the interview, Bang Si Hyuk thanked the BTS "ARMY" for their unwavering support for the group and the company. He stated how without them, BTS would not be where they are at the moment.

In other news, BTS recently won in the music category of the 9th Annual Shorty Awards. According to Soompi, the Big Hit boys outshined numerous American artists which were nominated in the same award giving body.

BTS beat similarly nominated American artists like Britney Spears, Missy Elliot, Ariana Grande, Drake, Mac Miller, Solange, Chance the Rapper, Ingrid Michaelson, and the American band Twenty One Pilots. BTS also managed to beat the British indie band The 1975.
