A major entertainment company in Japan reportedly has offered DIA to sign a 2 million dollar contract to debut in the country. If they accepted it, DIA will be the next MBK Entertainment's group to debut in Japan after T-ARA.

According to Allkpop, MBK Entertainment is in the middle of a discussion to determine whether or not to accept the offer. A source revealed that MBK Entertainment still needs to go on reviewing process and proposing the terms and conditions to the Japanese company.

However, fans are a bit skeptical about the plan. They don't think DIA will do much better in Japan than they do in Korea. The lack of information from MBK Entertainment about the issue also makes netizens quite unsure.

Meanwhile, DIA has just dropped its new album "YOLO", which also marks their first album as a 9-member-group. Prior to the album launching, DIA added two new members, Jooeun and Somi, following the departure of its former lead vocal Seunghee, Soompi reported.

According to Yebin, Jooen and Somi's addition to the group will help DIA grows musically mature. The new members performed their first stage at DIA's concert on April 7.

Jooeun is a former "K-Pop Star" contestant with an exceptional piano skill, while Somi is expected to be a fresh addition to the group's overall singing.

With a new lineup and their self-composed music, it's not impossible if DIA will be able to tackle Japanese market in their debut. Plus, most of DIA's members know how to play instruments and sing. DIA even wrote a single for their label mate, T-ARA for its upcoming album.

The song that DIA wrote for T-ARA reportedly titled "20090729", which is also the date of T-ARA's debut. However, since T-ARA fans could be lashing out negative feedbacks to DIA, T-ARA decided to take on the lyrics by themselves.
