Former Melody Day member Yeoeun will be returning as a solo artist, under a new agency SG MADE!

Yeoeun said, "I will work hard to improve as a singer and further enhance my skills, to repay the love and support of my fans with amazing things in the future."

Yeoeun, alongside her Melody Day co-members, debuted on February 25, 2014, with the single album "Another Parting." The girl group was initially composed of three members, until new member, Yoomin, was introduced in October through the release of the original soundtrack of the drama "Naeil's Cantabile," titled "Listen to My Heart."

In the following months, the girl group continued releasing singles and albums. On August 16, 2015, Yeoeun participated in MBC's "The King of Mask Singer" under a fake name "Give a Taste of Spicy Miss Pepper." She sang several songs impressing the audience with her singing skills, such as Jewelry's "Super Star," Kim Gun Mo's "Love is Gone," Kim Choo Ja's "Faraway, My Honey," and Park Mi Kyung's "As Like Dandelion Spores." After delivering great performances, Yeoeun was crowned the sixth champion of the popular show in 2015.

Aside from their singles and EPs, Melody Day also recorded several OSTs for web dramas like "You're My Everything" for MBC's television series "You Are My Destiny," and "Beautiful Day" for the promotional web series "First Seven Kisses."

Yeoeun herself also sang many OSTs, some of them are "Love" for the drama "Flower of the Queen Part 3," "Let's Forget It" for "Reply 1988 Part 10," "If You" for "Beautiful Gong Shim Part 9" and "Love My Love" for "Father I'll Take Care of You Part 4." Moreover, she collaborated with VIXX's N for the OST of "W Part 9" titled "Without you."

Furthermore, Yeoeun joined the competition show "The Unit" in 2017, together with her Melody Day co-members Yoomin and Chahee. However, the three of them failed to secure a spot in the winning group line-up.

After four years of being a group, Melody Day decided to end their contract with Cre. Ker Entertainment on December 26, 2018, thus the girl group officially disbanded.

Yeoeun's comeback marks her first after almost one year of hiatus. Stay tuned for more updates!
