HYBE has just published a previously unreleased Tomorrow X Together (TXT) dance practice video, capitalizing on the massive success of Netflix's animated film "KPop Demon Hunters."

The company unveiled TXT's "Eternally" Special Dance Practice (Demon Hunters ver.) on June 26, featuring the group members in traditional Korean hanbok outfits that mirror the aesthetic of the film's fictional villain boy band, the Saja Boys.

The video was originally filmed in 2022 but remained unreleased due to the tragic Itaewon Halloween crowd crush that occurred on October 29, 2022, which killed 159 people during Halloween celebrations in Seoul. HYBE had initially planned to release the Halloween-themed content, but shelved it following the national tragedy.

The timing of the release aligns with the overwhelming popularity of "KPop Demon Hunters," which premiered on Netflix on June 20, 2025. The animated musical follows a K-pop girl group called HUNTR/X who secretly work as demon hunters while battling the Saja Boys, a rival boy band composed of soul-stealing demons. The film has achieved significant success, reaching number one in Korea and multiple other countries.

The Saja Boys characters in "KPop Demon Hunters" were inspired by real K-pop groups including BTS, TXT, Stray Kids, ATEEZ, and ENHYPEN. The film's writer specifically mentioned TXT among the primary inspirations for the fictional boy band.

The release comes during a period of strong performance for HYBE, which reported record first-quarter revenues of $348.4 million in 2025, driven by successful world tours from multiple artists, including TXT. The company's strategy of maintaining a multi-label system has enabled more of its artist groups to achieve world tour success.

"KPop Demon Hunters" represents Netflix's continued investment in Korean content, following the global success of previous Korean productions like "Squid Game". The streaming giant has committed $2.5 billion to Korean content development over four years, recognizing the international appeal of Korean entertainment.
