Our SuJu hearts are swooning over Kim Heechul's latest Instagram post!
On September 8, Heechul shared an adorable post featuring his mini-reunion with former Super Junior member Kim Ki Bum.
The post, aptly captioned "Long time no see, Kim Ki Bum, includes a selfie photo and a video of the two saying brief messages about them getting old and wishing each other as well as their fans a healthy life.
ELFs can once again see the two reunite on KBS2's reality show "Some-Vival 1+1." Ki Bum is set to make a special appearance while Heechul serves as the program's co-host.
The two debuted in 2005 as part of the legendary boy group formed by SM Entertainment. It was in 2015 when Ki Bum parted ways with the agency and the boy band, pursuing an acting career both in Korea and in China.
Earlier last week, Super Junior has meanwhile started dropping teasers about their upcoming return to the music scene.
Starting with a countdown clock post set for 999 hours, the K-pop superstars are speculated to make a comeback on October 14 at 6 p.m. KST.
The boy band has also released teaser photos offering fans a glimpse of SuJu's comeback concept.
Coinciding with the release of their 9th studio album, Super Junior also announced that the third season of their variety show "SJ Returns" will premiere on September 9. All nine active members of the group -- back from their individual hiatuses because of the mandatory military enlistment -- will be appearing on the show and will give an exclusive glimpse of their preparations for their new album.
SM Entertainment has however clarified that Heechul will not be participating in music show promotions as well as in their upcoming Super Show 8 concert, to be held on October 12 and 13.
"Eight members, including Leeteuk, Yesung, Shindong, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Choi Siwon, Ryeowook, and Kyuhyun, will take part in "Super Show 8"... It is difficult for Kim Heechul to perform on stage with his current leg condition. We hope you understand our decision," the agency shared in a statement.
