"That has to be an eating disorder.", a netizen says in a Korean news forum (allkpop forum) after seeing Lia's recent photos during the ITZY show in Los Angeles, America. Recently, it has been a great concern between fans and other netizens after noticing the huge weight loss Lia had undergone, comparing to her debut photos and other performance photos.

Lia, the member of the rookie group, did live to broadcast, and fans captured his smaller arms and thin face. Dispatch has then posted a captured photo from the live streaming featuring her visuals that has caught much attention, though, and fans noticed her weight loss.

Fans then say that the photos were edited; however, other videos and pictures were posted through different social media platforms, confirming that it is indeed the young female idol's current body. 

Netizens have been wondering then if Lia might be suffering from anorexia, an eating disorder which gives a person a desire to become thin, a fear of gaining weight causing her/him to set food restrictions. It's sad how the eating disorder had become ordinary, especially for Korean celebrities and idols such as IU, who both have Anorexia and Bulimia (binge eating) before, and she confessed that it was due to the standards of the society regarding beauty, that made her insecure.

JYP Entertainment, the agency of the female idol, has not released any statement regarding this issue, and other fans were saying that it might be due to the angles of the camera. 

Some fans as well blamed the extra diets idols should have gone through, and a group also stated that it might be due to stress and fatigue after performing non-stop, given that Lia was still a teenager. 

After netizens have seen the photos, comments about her weight were surfacing, and they have written, 

"Oh, my goodness. She has lost so much weight since I saw her last. I mean, she's always been skinny, but this is going too far. This seriously can't be normal. I am scared for her right now. From the looks of it, she needs rest and recovery. I am praying for her health." (@eldrichirene)

On the other hand, Lia already cleared this rumor through another live broadcasting together with her group members, and the female idol talked about that she is eating well, and having anorexia is not valid. 

Lia even shared photos of her eating good foods and that she is doing well. 

In addition to this, according to netizens and fans who have seen her recently and confirmed that she is now doing fine. 

"People weight shift over time. I saw ITZY at Minneapolis. Lia does not look as skinny/fat as the normal person. We did group photos too and saw her up close she is fine." "Anyways, her energy was great, she was funny, there weren't any signs of being tired.
