Considering SHINEe's popular demand as a K-pop group, members are being showcased in other fields where they can express their hidden talents, aside from being a K-pop artist. SHINEe leader Onew was being considered as candidate to join cable channel jTBC's new comedy program.

The JTBC representative told media about the possibility of casting Onew as part of a new comedy program entitled "Welcome to Noyal Villa".

The rep mentioned that "Welcome to Noyal Villa" goes with the story of people who lives in a royal type villa as portrayed in a comic setting. They will invite about 30 audiences to watch every week and the filming will occur in a theater-- like a stage play performance. 

According to the JTBC representative, they've sent their offer to Onew and was received by his agency, SM Entertainment, but according to them nothing has been decided yet for Onew's participation in the show.

"Welcome to Noyal Villa" will be directed by a known director, Kim Seok Yoon who has been in the spotlight for his work in another show entitled "I Live in Cheongdamdong" Basically, this is where his expertise as a director was showcased. The first episode of "Welcome to Noyal Villa" will air in the first week of July. We hope that Onew will consider to join for his fans who've been waiting to see him in this setting.
