As announced earlier, today is the official military enlistment date of EXO's leader, Suho.
EXO-Ls are heartbroken as of the moment, as Suho of EXO is enlisting in the military as a mandatory service for being a male citizen of South Korea. It was recalled that the K-pop idol shocked the public when he suddenly wrote a letter to his fandom about his plans of enlisting which is sooner than expected.
"Hello, to our EXO-Ls, This is Suho. I'm writing this message as I have something to say to everyone. I'll be serving my mandatory military service that will begin on the 14th of May. During that time, I know that I'll really miss our EXO-Ls. I pray that EXO-Ls, who think and love me everyday, will always be healthy. Thank you and I love you with all my heart.
WE ARE ONE. EXO saranghaja (let's love)," he penned on his Lysn social media account.
Now that the day has finally come, fans have expressed their varied sentiments on social media and most of them are sad that it would take a long time for them to see him active as a K-pop idol, especially as EXO's leader.
"Suho will enlist today and it makes me cry while thinking about it. I will miss him so much! I will cherish you in my heart until you return to us. I love you so much! I will wait for you," one fan wrote on Twitter.

A follower also wrote, "Knowing that our Guardian, Suho will enlist today just hurts most of the EXO-Ls and of course EXO itself. We all are aware of how Suho became a very important part of EXO and its fans for he was always a thread of connection towards us and the members."
His fans also trended the hashtag #LetsMeetAgain_SUHO as a way of bidding goodbye to the EXO leader for a while, while being hopeful that they will see him in the future. The EXO-Ls flooded heartfelt messages on Twitter.
"Thank you for all the hard work you've done as Suho and Kim Junmyeon. You've been a source of happiness, love and kindness. I'll be wishing you good health always. Take care, love you lots," a message from a fan.
Suho is expected to enter the training center today to receive his basic military training and will proceed to his military service as a social worker. The time and location of his admission is kept private. He is the third member to enlist from the group along with D.O. and Xiumin.
Prior to this, he made a successful debut as a solo artist with his album, "Self-Portrait." He also expressed his appreciation and love towards his fans on his Vlive streaming after the success of his album launch.
