EXO-Ls, especially Bunny Citizens, were heavy-hearted after EXO's leader Suho enlisted in the military. This was why fans kept sending him letters while he's currently serving the country, not to mention that he celebrated his birthday, May 22, in the military.
But fret not, EXO-Ls, as the EXO leader just assured his fans that he is doing well!
On May 28, EXO's Suho penned a lengthy message for his fans who are missing him a lot and are still looking forward to updates from him. Fans were then delighted to get such a heartfelt update from him, which is most specifically reassuring them of his current state while undergoing military training.
Here is the translated version of his letter:
To: EXO-L
Hello, EXO-L. It is me, EXO's leader, Suho. Also 23rd regiment (?) Company 6 Platoon 2 Squad 1 No. 65 recruit, Kim Junmyeon.
Are you doing well? I am doing very well. I am training thoroughly, and I am savoring the meals (eating so much) more than how I used to (the menu has a lot of sumptuous items!). I have been dozing off well and deep every night, too. As expected, a fixed day to day routine life suits me. And, with the disposition as EXO's leader, I am spending every day joyfully as the company leader recruit with 159 recruits.
I believe EXO-L will be surprised to read this unexpected letter coming from me. The reason why I am writing this message to you today is that I want to thank you, and I have something to ask for from you.
May 22 was my birthday, right? I received a lot of well wishes from the recruits here as well as the online letters EXO-L sent to me via THE CAMP and the handwritten letters! The news of our members, reviews of Heart4U, etc., I've received the sincerity-filled messages. I have a lot of lovers and spouses the relations... hoho EXO-L bunnyzens are so adorable, and as expected, their power is amazing.
Anyway! Even though it's difficult for you to send me your words since I am in the training center, I am living a happy and fruitful existence..haha I hope you won't worry about me.
Today, the request that I would like to ask our EXO-L is (because) of the love I have received... Honestly, I am supposed to look through and sort the online letters personally during my spare time than I expected, and it's hard for me to confirm everything. (Honestly, rather than the time constraints, it is because of the loved-filled letters I have received from EXO-L...as expected EXO-L are amazing), which is why I hope you can refrain from sending such letters and instead post on my Instagram account or send them to the SM office, and I will surely look at them after my training period.
Of course, our EXO-L may find it a pity because I am Suho, who knows EXO-L's hearts better than anyone else. There is no need for you to worry!!!

In the latter part of his letter, Suho also encouraged EXO-Ls to listen to his bandmate Baekhyun's new title track "Candy," as he recently made his solo comeback album, "Delight."
He wrote:

Suho enlisted in the military on May 14, wherein he also wrote a letter to his fandom prior to his official enlistment date. Good news then came out several days after confirmation from a source said that he is leading a set of recruits inside the camp.
