Wonho is finally back! On August 14, K-pop singer Wonho returned in the music scene after debuting as a solo artist with his pre-release song, "Losing You," which kicked off both in Korea and America.

 The song is part of his first mini-album, "Love Synonym #1: Right for Me," which will be dropped on September 4. This is his first appearance in the K-pop industry after leaving Monsta X ten months ago.

"Losing You," is a pop R&B song that combines sweet piano melody and Wonho's clear vocals, and you can feel Wonho's sincerity in expressing love and gratitude for all the fans around the world with him. In addition to this, the lyrics of the song were written in English, conveying the message clearer and easier to his international fans.

The catch-phrase, "Cause losing me is better than losing you," and "Don't you know that I would die for you," warmed several hearts after its release, particularly his fans and supporters who waited and anticipated for his comeback in the K-pop world for a long time, particularly WENEE, the fandom of the male singer.

In his recent interview with RADIO.COM, he talked about coming up with his fandom name, as well as how important his fans to him.

Behind the odd name, "WENEE," Wonho explained that the meaning of his fandom is a shortened term from "We are new ending to We Need." It is indeed a peculiar fandom name among other K-pop artists, but Wonho revealed that he was firmed about naming his fan group, WENEE, despite his staffs making him change his mind into prettier names.

Also, in the interview, the male singer shared things and activities that WENEEs should expect from him in the future. According to the singer, fans and supporters can expect a lot from him, including showcasing his feelings and emotions, new songs written both in English and Korean, as well as featuring many colors of him that fans will see on his album release and upcoming projects.

Furthermore, his song "Losing You," is also dedicated to his fans that is very much close to his heart and the people that he wants to keep forever.According to Wonho, "I want to show them how much I care about them (his fanbase WENEE) more than anything; and that we are forever connected as well as we are one."

On the other hand, Wonho recently signed a contract with MAVERICK, an American music business management company, to announce his global activities. In line with this, the album is expected to be released simultaneously in Korea and the US and attract fans around the world with messages containing Wonho's sincerity.

With the release of his pre-released song "Losing You," Wonho will warm up the atmosphere of his upcoming comeback in earnest, further raising fans' expectations for his solo debut.
