In the music scene, several K-pop groups can't avoid changes, may it be on their concepts or original member lineup. Some groups are undergoing reconstructions due to the member's departure, but few groups also experienced changes due to additional members. However, it is not always easy for the added member, for they have to adjust with the group, and tendency that some fans may not favor them.

These K-pop idols were actually hated and ignored by their fandom and netizens, but due to their perseverance, patience and talents, they eventually captured the attention of the music scene, and now receiving the love that they do deserve.

1. Super Junior Kyuhyun

Originally, Super Junior is a twelve-membered rotational group who is set to experience changes in the lineup every year, wherein the first-gen group, "Super Junior 5" was introduced in 2005. However, SM eventually changed the rotational group into a fixed group when Kyuhyun was added to the group as a 13th member.

Netizens then received the news negatively, throwing hate and criticisms to the idol for allegedly destroying the dynamics of the group. Netizens and fans also think "13" is an unlucky member and that the group is already too crowded.
