It appears Red Velvet's cutie friendly bear has turned into quite the social butterfly. The idol has been spotted with numerous celebrities, showing off her adorable bonds with them. Here are the nine celebrities that are part of Seulgi's star-studded clique!
1. Sunmi
Seulgi and Sunmi became friends in 2018 while they were filming "Secret Unnie". During the show, the two bonded over their similarities, such as their love for quirky and unique vintage items. The two have since become extremely close and are often seen supporting each other. They are so close, in fact, that when Sunmi's song "pporappippam" dropped, Seulgi was one of the first people to text her, telling Sunmi he was streaming her song!
2. MAMAMOO's Moonbyul
Seulgi first met Moonbyul while filming "Idol Dream Operation Team", where the girls acted in a mini-drama and debuted as a project group called "Girls Next Door". The two ended up becoming such good friends, that Seulgi debuted on Moonbyul debut solo song, "SELFISH"! The two are often seen supporting each other on social media, whether it be sharing their support for new music releases on their Instagram stories or commenting on their posts. In early 2020, Moonbyul had sent Seulgi a coffee track to show her support for the group's concert in Seoul.
3. BLACKPINK's Jisoo
Seulgi has mentioned numerous times that Jisoo is one of her closest idol friends, and the two have not shied away from showing it to fans! The two are often seen commenting on each other's posts on Instagram. While Seulgi and Irene were promoting "Monster'" and BLACKPINK was promoting "How You Like That", the two shared a photo of each other backstage at Inkigayo!

4. f(x)'s Amber
Amber and Seulgi have been friends for years, having spent their trainee years together. The two are such good friends that even when Amber had debuted, she would still continuously visit Seulgi, who was still a trainee. She was constantly cheering Seulgi on and was ecstatic for her debut. Though Amber has left SM Entertainment, the two are still close friends, with Amber leaving comments on Seulgi's Instagram posts. The two have also followed each other on Instagram.

Fans first saw Soyeon and Seulgi together when they, along with Chungha and GFRIEND's SinB, collaborated on the SM Station track "Wow Thing". Though the two have not been seen together as much, the two are still definitely friends. Recently, a video of Seulgi and Soyeon doing the "DUMDi DUMDi" challenge was posted to (G)I-DLE's social media pages, showing their friendship is as strong as ever.
6. Oh My Girl's Hyojung
Back in July 2019, Hyojung revealed though a live broadcast that she and Seulgi are actually close friends! Hyojung revealed that she and Seulgi were introduced to each other through a mutual friend. When they first met, they clicked instantly since the two had a lot in common. The two often hang out with each other. The two are often seen supporting each other on social media, sharing stories of each other when they meet in events.
7. Girls Next Door (Idol Drama Operation Team)
In 2017, Seulgi partnered up with Oh My Girl's YooA, Jeon Somi, MAMAMOO's Moonbyul, Lovelyz's Sujeong, SONAMOO's D.ana, and NATURE's Sohee to film "Idol Drama Operation Team", a show where the girls were tasked to create their own Korean drama series. They debuted in the project group "Girls Next Door" as part of the show. In 2018, Seulgi revealed on a radio show that she was still close with the girls and that she keeps in touch with all of them.
8. TWICE's Nayeon
Nayeon is known for being close with numerous idols, being one of the most popular social butterflies of the third generation. She is close to all the members of Red Velvet and though she is closest to maknae Yeri, she is still close with Seulgi as well! During the 2018 filming for the "Idol Star Athletics Competition", she was seen chatting with Seulgi, even linking arms with her and putting her arm around the Red Velvet member.
9. Gong Seung Yeon
Though not an idol, her friendship with Gong Seung Yeon is too adorable not to add! Before debuting as an actress, Gong Seung Yeon was a famous SM Entertainment trainee who had trained closely with Seulgi. Though no longer in the same industry, the two have remained close friends throughout the years. Seung Yeon even shared a selfie of the two to her Instagram, showing off their close bond!
