These K-Pop Idols Are Famous Introverts in The Industry
In K-pop, an idol needs confidence. Confidence does not equate to extroversion, however. These are idols who are well-known introverts in the industry. Though they may look cold and haughty at first glance because of how quiet they are, they are actually kind-hearted, eccentric, and have lovely charms.
1. Red Velvet's Irene
Irene is known for her cold beauty. Despite being kind and is not afraid of having fun with the people around her, the idol apparently has some difficulty becoming close to people due to her being introverted. For a time, Irene co-hosted KBS2's "Music Bank" alongside actor Park Bogum for a year. For the time that they hosted together, they did not even exchange phone numbers!
2. EXO's D.O
D.O is so shy around people he doesn't know, people have said his voice changes when he's around strangers! The EXO member acted in the film "Pure Love" alongside Kim So Hyun, and it was revealed it took a long time for the two to get comfortable with each other. It took so long, in fact, that the director told D.O to get close to Kim So Hyun by holding her hand!

3. Girls' Generation's Taeyeon
Taeyeon is a well-know homebody despite being such a famous name in the industry. Although she is active on numerous broadcasts, she'd rather spend her time alone by doing nail art or playing online games. She is known for showing her goofy side in front of her friends and members and being unable to speak when in unfamiliar places with unfamiliar people.

4. B1A4's Jinyoung
Though he is arguable the most well-known member of the group, Jinyoung is known for being quiet with friends. Though he is shy when he initially meets people, Jinyoung is known to do his best to build friendships over time. Those who are friends with him have revealed the idol is cute and easy-going!
5. EXID's Hani
It has been stated that Hani, who is often energetic and bright on broadcast, really forces herself to not look awkward. This was especially true when she had to host MBC ever1's "Weekly Idol". She has stated in the past that due to her introverted personality, she does not have many idol friends. However, she is also known for taking care of the people around her well, and she is still good friends with her classmates from elementary school.
6. BTS's Jungkook
At first glance, Jungkook is cute and outgoing. In reality, he is actually a shy person, and he actually felt older with having members older than him for a while. Back when the group first formed, he would wait until all his members fell asleep before taking a shower as to not be in their way.

7. Apink's Naeun
Apink's Naeun is so shy, she actually felt awkward doing fan service during her early debut days! Despite that, Naeun has no problem showing her cute side once she gets close to someone. As time went on, Naeun became more comfortable showing that side to her fans, and she is now known as the "Queen of Fan Service".
8. HIGHLIGHT's Doojoon
Though know his beagle-like beauty, Doojoon is known for being introverted with people he does not know. He is so introverted that he himself has stated he doesn't have a lot of celebrity friends. People have even nicknamed him as "The Iron Wall" due to his tricky it is to get close to him.

9. INFINITE's Sunggyu
Sunggyu is so introverted that when he took a personality test, they claimed he has a hard time expressing his internal emotions, He has revealed on numerous occasions that he greatly prefers time alone than with others. It's a well-known story due to how introverted the idol is, he saw far away from the other idol groups during the filming of MBC's "Idol Star Athletics Competition".
