BTS's Jimin has once again proved himself as a history maker, breaking three new records!

One of the records Jimin broke is having the most likes on a V Live. The livestream, titled "Long Time No See", was streamed on April 24, 2018. Though uploaded two years ago, the V Live is still gaining likes and views to this day.

As of now, it has garnered 3.19 billion hearts or likes and has been viewed over 185.08 million times.

During the V Live, Jimin is seen catching up with fans after a performance for around an hour. Though possibly tired, he took time to talk about the members, how he felt about their performances, and how happy and healthy he has been.

After five days the broadcast was live, the V Live had already garnered 1 billion likes, making it the first video in V Live history to surpass a billion. That V Live ranked first on V Live's Weekly Chart in sixteen different countries and 1st on the V Live Daily Chart in 9 countries. Back then, fans trended #BillionHeartsForJimin. Now that it has surpassed 3 billion, how about #3BillionHeartsForJimin?

Additionally, Jimin is the second most-viewed person on TikTok. His unique hashtag, #jimin, has surpassed 15.7 billion views on TikTok, beating out Indian actor Salman Khan, who previously held the record. This is an amazing feat, as Jimin does not have his own personal TikTok account. All the members of BTS post to the official BTS TikTok account.

The third record Jimin broke is for the highest solo Korean song and the highest BTS on the Billboard's World Digital Songs Chart. His solo song, "Filter" ranked 5th on the World Digital Song Sales Chart as of September 22, 2020. "Filter" is Jimin's solo song that can be found in BTS's fourth full-length album, "Map of the Soul: 7". His solo song has remained on the chart of a steady 28 weeks.

Just yesterday, September 22, 2020, it was announced that Jimin had become the first Korean artist to surpass to have two songs surpass 100 million streams on Spotify. His song, "Serendipity (Full Length Edition), surpassed 100 million streams on the largest music streaming platform on September 20, 2020. His other solo song, "Lie", surpassed that number on April 27, 2020.

To celebrate, fans trended #SerendipityFull100M and #RecordMakerJimin. The hashtags trended at number four in South Korea, with both international and Korean ARMYs sending the BTS member some love.

ABOUT JIMIN

Jimin is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and dancer. He debuted as a member of BTS in 2013 under Big Hit Entertainment. Prior to his signing under Big Hit Entertainment, Jimin was a student in the Busan High School of Arts were he majored on the modern dance and was the top student. He auditioned for the label after being suggested to do it by his teacher.

Jimin has released two solo songs under BTS and one song, "Promise", outside of BTS. Jimin has already participated in numerous variety shows and has hosted as a special MC in music shows.
