An important part of becoming a K-Pop idol is knowing how to be an overall entertainer. As such, they have to pull off various concepts and also appear in variety shows. If you've seen even one variety show, you'll know that they're famous for making idols go out of their comfort zone. One such thing they male idols do is the aegyo.

Aegyo in Korean refers to a cute display of affection often expressed, including but not limited to through a cute/baby voice, facial expressions, and gestures. Aegyo means behaving in a flirtatious, coquette-ish manner, and it is commonly expected for both male and female k-pop idols to behave this way.

However, it is not uncommon for everyday people to behave in such a way, and is widely used to express affection to loved ones, families, and friends. Aegyo can also display closeness with others, which can bring people together. The word is often translated as cuteness in English[citation needed]. It can be compared to the Chinese concept of sājiāo or the Japanese concept of kawaii or the Japanese equivalent, aikyou.

Aegyo is derived from the Korean word "aegi," which means baby, and therefore, it makes sense that while doing aegyo, one is supposed to look childlike, innocent, and cute. While some idols are just effortlessly able to show their aegyo, others are way too shy to be engaging in fanservice like this. However, when they do take it up, it makes hearts flutter.

Here are some K-Pop idols whose aegyo can literally make anyone fall in love.

1. BTS JIMIN

Jimin has proved time and time again just how powerful his aegyo is. Even when he's not trying to look cute, his baby face looks adorable, making fans hearts melt just by looking at him.

2. MONSTA X JOOHEON

Jooheon has sworn off doing aegyo multiple times on variety shows but he still keeps going back to it as if it's only natural. Jooheon's aegyo is one of the cutest ones out there despite how badass he is as a performer.

Another intimidating artist that surprisingly is amazing at aegyo is G-Dragon. His aegyo is so famous that other idols imitate him as well.

Xiumin is the oldest in EXO but fans have named him the maknae anyway simply because the's just how cute he is. Xiumin's aegyo is just world class.

YoonA is the OG queen of aegyo and she looks absolutely adorable doing it.

8. BLACKPINK JENNIE

Jennie is known worldwide for her extraordinary beauty. However, her aegyo is also out of this world. She could get anyone to do anything if she only did the barest minimum aegyo and her record on variety shows is proof enough of that.
