One of the most-asked questions to idols in variety shows is, "what is your ideal type?" While some are shy to answer that, others have particular ideal types. An ideal type is the perfect type of person one would want to be with. They're carved from a person's specific preferences, referenced from their favorite actors/actresses/models or even characters from shows.
No two person's ideal types are the same as they differ vastly from person to person. Some may think that an idol's ideal type would be someone drop-dead gorgeous and model-like. However, on the contrary, some of these idols have quite simple tastes, after all.

1. BTS V
V has been termed the most handsome face in the world many times. He's an amazing artist, singer, songwriter, dancer, and overall, a beautiful soul. One would think he has high expectations for the person he would fall in love with. However, all he wants is someone who will be wise with money and stop him from making bad choices with his money.
2. WINNER Seunghoon
Lee Seung-hoon, better known by the mononyms Seunghoon and Hoony, is a South Korean rapper, singer-songwriter, choreographer, and South Korean boy group Winner. He is well-known for his appearance in the first season of SBS' reality survival program K-pop Star. He's extremely handsome, which makes one think about just how perfect he'd like his partner to be. However, he just wants someone who is going to carry band-aids in their purse.

3. B1A4 Baro
Cha Sun-woo, better known by his stage name Baro, is a South Korean rapper, singer, lyricist, and actor. He is a member of boy group B1A4 and is currently under HODU&U Entertainment. He made his acting debut through the hit 2013 cable drama Reply 1994 and additionally received critical acclaim for his role in the television series God's Gift - 14 Days (2014) and Angry Mom.
Baro is introverted and not that talkative, so he wants to date someone lively, energetic, and outgoing and who does not seem too perfect. He wants to be the one to take care of his girlfriend. Lastly, he likes a girl who eats well, like Go Ara's character in Reply 1994. He picked Girls' Generation Taeyeon to be closest to his ideal type.
4. BTOB Sungjae
Yook Sung-jae, better known mononymously as Sungjae, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, actor, host, and entertainer. He is a member and the third-generation leader of BtoB and its sub-group, BtoB Blue. Aside from his group's activities, Yook has acted in television dramas Who Are You: School 2015 (2015), The Village: Achiara's Secret (2015), Guardian: The Lonely and Great God (2016), and Mystic Pop-up Bar (2020) and has appeared on hit shows like Hitmaker, We Got Married and Master in the House. He released six digital singles through the music project 3x2=6 from December 2019 to February 2020 and later made his solo debut with Yook O'Clock on March 2, 2020.
Sungjae would like someone direct and not fake, someone cute, thoughtful, and enthusiastic. However, he also mentioned with emphasis that he'd like someone with a nice belly button.

5. HIGHLIGHT Gikwang
Lee Gi-kwang, known professionally as Gikwang or Kikwang, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and actor. He originally debuted as a solo singer with the stage name AJ (Ace Junior), releasing his first mini-album First Episode: A New Hero on April 4, 2009. In October 2009, he debuted as the main dancer, visual and a lead vocalist of boy group BEAST, which was renamed Highlight in February 2017. He began his acting career with a supporting role in the popular television sitcom High Kick Through the Roof (2009-10) and had supporting roles in dramas My Princess (2011), Me Too, Flower! (2011), Mrs. Cop (2015), Monster (2016), Circle (2017), and Lovely Horribly (2018), He also became an MC for various shows such as Hot Brothers and Inkigayo.
With such an impressive amount of work under his belt, all he wants in his partner is someone who will make him a protein shake after he works out.
