Park Ji Hoon Announces Much-Awaited Comeback in Early November
While being a successful actor, Ji Hoon is a musician at heart and fans miss hearing his beautiful voice. As such, on October 8, 2020, Maroo Entertainment announced that Park Ji Hoon would be releasing his first ever full length studio album in early November.
The agency stated, "He is currently in the final stage of preparations for his comeback. He has put a lot of effort into this and will show a new side of himself with his first studio album, so please look forward to it."
This will be Ji Hoon's first comeback since his third mini album, "The W," in May and fans can't wait for the release!
Park Ji Hoon is a South Korean singer and actor. He is known for his participation in the reality competition show Produce 101 Season 2. He finished in second place overall and became a member of the boy group Wanna One, which released several chart-topping albums and singles from 2017 to 2019. The group achieved both critical and commercial success, with six Korean top five singles.
He also returned to the acting scene in September 2019, with a lead role on JTBC historical drama Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency. This role really catapulted his success to fresh new heights among a global audience who was already in love with him since his Wanna One days.
Ji Hoon now plays Gong Juyeong in KAKAO M's web-drama 'Love Revolution' alongside Lee Ruby and The Boyz' Younghoon. He's very well appreciated and loved by Korean fans and those abroad, and 'Love Revolution' has achieved immense success, surpassing 1 million views with every episode, thanks to his talent and charm.
However, this was not his first role as an actor. Ji Hoon first made his debut as a child actor, appearing as a supporting cast member on the popular MBC historical drama Jumong (2006) and earned roles in the several television dramas afterwards such as 'The King and I',' Kimchi Cheese Smile' and 'Iljimae'. He also established himself as a musical actor through his participation in the musicals 'Peter Pan', 'The Harmonium in My Memory' and 'Radio Star'.
With the conclusion of group activities in January 2019, Park began his solo career with EP "O'Clock" in March of 2019. Ji Hoon is also best friends with BTS V.
