NCT 2020’s Regular Album Pre-Order Sales Surpass 1.12 Million
NCT 2020 Resonance Pt. 1 is the first part of the upcoming second studio album of South Korean boy group NCT, an unlimited group project under the management of SM Entertainment. Set to be released on October 12, 2020, the album contains twelve tracks including two singles. The lead single, "Make A Wish (Birthday Song)", will release in the same day as the album release, and will be followed by "From Home" in October 19, 2020, both songs performed by NCT U.
Similar to their preceded release, NCT 2018 Empathy, the album is part of "NCT 2020" project, which would combine members of the various subunits on one album. This time, the album features all 23 members from all four units of NCT; NCT 127, NCT Dream, and WayV, along with 2 new members being added to the group, Shotaro and Sungchan.
NCT 2020 Resonance Pt. 1 will be followed by the second part of the album, NCT 2020 Resonance Pt. 2, set to be released in November 2020.
Fans are immensely excited by the fact of another NCT compilation release which will include the entirety of NCT, all of its subunits! This has effectively translated into a huge amount of pre-orders for the first part of their album, 'Resonance Part 1". The album is garnering global attention especially because of the synergy that all the members will create altogether as well as the different faces of the members that the fans will get to see. The combinations and subunits formed for each of the songs is simply incredible and fans cannot wait for the entire album.
NCT-The 2nd Album RESONANCE Pt.1' has achieved sales of 1.12 million copies (as of October 11) in pre-order, recording the highest number of its own, breaking their own records. This only goes to show the potency, power and hold of NCT on the global as well as Korean market. It is also being speculated that the album will reach a million sales even before the official comeback.
In addition, from 5PM KST, an hour before the release of the album, a live broadcast titled 'NCT's 'Make A Wish' COUNTDOWN LIVE' will be held on the NCT channel of Naver V Live, and the seven members who participated in the creation of the title song will appear, introducing the new album, working film, and Q&A.
