On Monday, former MOMOLAND member and currently an actress, Yeonwoo, worried her fans and supporters following a series of Instagram stories on her personal account, exposing a terrifying experience with a sasaeng.

On her first uploaded story, the former K-pop idol said, "Please do not come near my home." Fans were then already alarmed by it, but it became worse when she also uploaded a screenshot of DM (direct messages) coming from an anonymous sender.

In the screenshot, the stalker said, "If you are currently home, come outside [your house] in about an hour. Come to the same spot just like last time. If you don't come by 11, then I'll leave." Yeonwoo then hinted to the obsessed fan through her IG story saying, "Yes, leave or I'll report you."

Fans and supporters of the former idol were indeed anxious about the creepy event and came to her SNS to convey their worried hearts and tell her as well to report it to the police and check if she's safe.

Shortly after, Yeonwoo turned on her Instagram Live and did a broadcast to update her fans and netizens who also showed their concerns. During the broadcast, Yeonwoo told her supporters that she's planning to move into a new place, to avoid any kind of disturbances similar to what happened earlier. She also affirmed to fans that she's okay, and the sasaeng also apologized to her through dm.

Nevertheless, fans are also calling out MLD Entertainment, her current label, to take measures regarding stalking and sasaeng involving their artists.

Yeonwoo, who is a former idol, is still experiencing the terror of stalkers and sasaengs, which is a long problem in the Korean industry. K-pop fandoms hope that there will be a strong law or strict punishment that should be given to any perpetrators to prevent any kind of danger to celebrities.

On the other hand, Yeonwoo is a former member of the K-pop group MOMOLAND who left the group in 2019 and had a career change as an actress.

MLD Entertainment however mentioned in their official announcement that she'll be leaving the group but will still be managed as an actress by their acting division. Yeonwoo also took an explanation out of her official fan café, stating, "I am doing something new right now. I don't have any choice above this. I have to keep doing this if I want to keep chasing my dream, I have to do this to feel lively, and I have to do this to keep seeing you."

After leaving the group, Yeonwoo immediately landed on the industry with several K-drama offers, including, "Pegasus Market, " "Alice," where she is currently playing the role of Yoon Tae Yeon.

Before the year ends, the rising actress is set to star on two upcoming Korean dramas as well, including "Live On," and "If you Cheat, You Die," which will be released in November and December, respectively.
