GOT7 Youngjae Accused of Being a School Bully + JYP Entertainment to Verify Information

On Wednesday, Star News reported that JYP Entertainment is checking related information regarding allegations that GOT7 Youngjae is a former perpetrator of school violence against people with disabilities.
According to the male idol's agency, "We came upon the article and are verifying further details."
The accusations broke out when a group of netizens posted on an online community that Youngjae of GOT7 was involved in school violence during his high school in Mokpo on October 20.
The writers who uploaded the allegations are students who claimed to be people with hearing impairments and are intellectually handicapped, who attended the same technical school in Mokpo that Youngjae went to when he was in high school.
According to the alleged victims, Youngjae would beat them and stole money from them without a reason.
They added that they came out as they are tired of seeing Youngjae pretend to be good while on TV.
Youngjae was born in 1996 and is 24 this year. He debuted as a member of GOT7 in 2014 as the main vocalist of the group.
As soon as Ahgases (GOT7 fandom) of the idol found out about the controversy, they immediately debunked the allegations and said that they will wait for JYP Entertainment's official statement regarding the issue.
Also, they don't believe that the young idol can be able to do it as he has always been praised for his kindness and warmth. In particular, he made headlines last year for helping a fan who was scared of commuting home.
The fan was originally from Gyeonggi Province and attended the GOT7 event in Daegu. Aside from checking train schedules for her, Youngjae also shared a comforting message and assisted her to make sure she's safe and comfortable on her trip.
