Taeha Shares Why She Left MOMOLAND, Wants to Visit the Philippines, and More
Taeha revealed why she decided to depart from the group and whether she still communicates with MOMOLAND members.
Former MOMOLAND member Taeha recently uploaded a video on her personal YouTube Channel 'Taeha Drama' to celebrate reaching 10,000 subscribers and answer a few questions from the fans. One of the questions is, 'Why did you leave Momoland?'
Taeha stated, "This is the question that the fans have been most curious about." She then kept quiet for a few seconds before answering, "The reason why I left MOMOLAND is to express myself to everyone in my own voice, so I discussed it with the company, and we were on our separate ways."
She added, "Although we don't keep in touch as much as we would like to because the members are busy with schedules, I sometimes grab something to eat and also shop with Daisy. I hope you guys are all well. I miss you all."
It has been almost a year since Taeha left the group. On November 30, 2019, MLD Entertainment announced that she and Yeonwoo are about to kick off a new chapter of their life by departing from MOMOLAND and the company. Before her departure, Taeha has been inactive in the group's activities for about eight months starting from March 14 of the same year due to health and personal reasons.
Considering this, her last release with the members was on June 26, 2018, with their fourth extended play entitled "Fun to the World, which features four songs, including the lead single "BAAM.
Meanwhile, another question Taeha addressed was, 'What do you want to do when COVID-19 ends?' She responded, "When COVID-19 comes to an end, now that I have a driver's license, I want to travel. I want to go to Busan. I really want to travel. I wanted to travel abroad. But there are plenty of interesting things to do in Korea as well. So, I want to take a road trip to Busan; to go eat my favorite beef ribs; go to Haeundae and see the ocean."
She further stated, "The place I want to visit the most in the Philippines. I want to go to the Philippines and perform, even at a small event. I want to perform, in which I will be in charge of the production."
Furthermore, Taeha was also asked what she has been up to since leaving MOMOLAND. She answered, "So I have recently started YouTube. I have been practicing, singing, and dancing and uploading videos, recording, and all that jazz. And maybe expect to see me on television soon?"
Taeha continued, "And I took a year off last year, that's when I dabbled on blogging in Jeonju while staying home - the blog called 'Daughter of Jeonju Tae Ha Kim.' I have been resting up while blogging from time to time. Also, I went to a lot of good restaurants and cafes, and all." "And I got my driver's license! After that, I have been going to places near Seoul and learning how to ride a bike. I have also been cooking. I'm quite good at it actually," she added.
