CHOCOME Showcases Surprising New Collaboration With Kim Young Cheol

COSMIC GIRLS' popular new subunit CHOCOME appeared on KBS 2TV'Music Bank', which aired on the 23rd of October 2020, and released the stage performance of 'Heung Chit Bong,' the title song of the same name of 'Hmph!', a new album recently released with comedian Kim Young Cheol.

Today, CHOCOME appeared in an orange one-piece dress with a cute cape and caught the eye of audiences with a lively charm. Kim Young Cheol also showed a cute and refreshing visuals as if they were a team with an orange suit and a cape on his shoulder.

'Heung Chit Bong' is characterized by an addictive melody and pleasant performance that is causing a spontaneous parody craze among K-pop fans and has also initiated the 'Heung Chit Bong Challenge' among other idols and fans.

CHOCOME's special stage on such an occasion received a hot response on social media and fans cannot stop applauding this collaboration.

CHOCOME's debut title, 'Heung Chit Bong,' is a vintage disco-pop genre track, with an addictive hook and lyrics that show off one's heart cutely to someone who doesn't know her feelings. The songs are filled with the charms of the bright and cheerful members, and they are getting more and more loved by the public as time goes by because of their addictiveness that cannot be escaped.

Cosmic Girls, also known as WJSN, is a South Korean-Chinese girl group formed by Starship Entertainment and Yuehua Entertainment. The group debuted on February 25, 2016, with the extended play Would You Like? and with twelve members: Seola, Xuanyi, Bona, Exy, Soobin, Luda, Dawon, Eunseo, Cheng Xiao, Meiqi, Yeoreum, and Dayoung. In July 2016, Cosmic Girls added a thirteenth member, Yeonjung, to the group. In 2020, Cosmic Girls held its third concert titled WJSN Concert "Obliviate," starting on February 22, 2020, at the Olympic Hall in Seoul, South Korea, and finishing on March 22, 2020, the Toyosu PIT in Tokyo, Japan.

Cosmic Girls released their eighth mini-album Neverland, including the title track "Butterfly," on June 9, 2020.

On September 22, a teaser image was released for WJSN CHOCOME's first single album titled "Hmph!", to be released on October 7. On the 23rd, Starship confirmed that WJSN would be debuting their first sub-unit. The unit's debut schedule was released later that day, while the single's tracklist was released on the 24th. The first concept photos were released on the 25th and revealed the unit's members: Soobin, Luda, Yeoreum, and Dayoung. Ever since the inception of CHOCOME, it has received incredible love and support, and appreciation from fans in Korea and worldwide.

Soobin is a South Korean singer under Starship Entertainment. She is a member of the girl group WJSN, its sub-unit WJSN CHOCOME, and the project group Y TEEN. Luda is a South Korean singer under Starship Entertainment and Yue Hua Entertainment. She is a member of the girl group WJSN, its sub-unit WJSN CHOCOME, and the project girl group WJMK. Yeoreum is a South Korean singer under Starship Entertainment and Yue Hua Entertainment. She is a member of the girl group WJSN, its sub-unit WJSN CHOCOME, and the project group Y TEEN. Dayoung is a South Korean singer and actress under Starship Entertainment and Yue Hua Entertainment. She is a member of the girl group WJSN, its sub-unit WJSN CHOCOME, and the project group Y TEEN.

Together, they form CHOCOME, one of the hottest subunits in the industry as of now.
