Chun Myung Hoon is a South Korean singer, rapper, actor and television presenter. He is a member of boy band NRG. He released his single, Welcome To The Jungle on October 19, 2012. He is well known as a cast member on several TV shows, including Girl Spirit.

MBC Every1's 'Video Star', which airs on the 27th of October, has a special feature called 'Room Dinner Show! Tuesday, Tuesday is fun', where presently progressing legend singers Chae Rina, Shinji, Kim Jongmin, Baekga, and Cheon Myung Hoon appear.

According to the production crew, on this day, Chun Myung Hoon showed a passionate promotional attitude for his trot song 'Myung Hoon is Going' or "Myung Hoon Goes", which was released in August of this year, saying, "I came to a talk show for the first time after my debut."

Chun Myung Hoon also introduced his single by saying, "Trot is a hot new genre and now my NRG activities have started again and I am a trot singer."

In addition, Chun Myung Hoon revealed the story behind the filming of the music video, saying that this music video is a welcoming work with the intention of paying respect after watching the music video for BTS' Suga's 'Daechwita' released under his alter-ego/solo stage name Agust D.

In response, Super Junior Shin Dong, the music video director of 'Myung-Hoon is Going', said, "Chun Myung-hoon directly sold his feet to find a place," adding, "Fortunately, BTS fans didn't say anything." The comparison video of the music video for 'Myeong-Hoon is Going' by Chun Myung Hoon and 'Daechwita' by Agust D will be released on the air during the episode.

The broadcast of the show is scheduled to be on the 27th at 8:30 p.m. KST.

Chun began his career as a backup dancer and debuted in 1996 as one-half of the dance-pop duo Hamo Hamo (Ko) with Lee Sung-jin, while Noh Yoo-min and Moon Sung-hoon served as their backup dancers. The foursome would go on to form NRG.

As they debuted around the same time as H.O.T., Chun quipped on Handsome Boys of the 20th Century that NRG would not have been formed had Hamo Hamo not been overshadowed by the massive success of H.O.T.

After NRG's disbandment, Chun was the only member who remained in the entertainment industry; Noh and Moon had both entered the business world while Lee stayed out of the public eye due to his legal troubles.

Chun began his career as a solo singer and a cast member on various variety shows. He was a main cast member on the variety-reality show Handsome Boys of the 20th Century which featured his fellow first-generation counterparts Moon Hee-jun and Tony An of H.O.T., Sechs Kies leader and rapper Eun Ji-won and rapper Danny Ahn of g.o.d, all of whom were born in the year 1978. The five entertainers formed a "group" called HOTSechgodRG, a combination of all their idol group names, and remade NRG's debut song "I Can Do It".

On October 22, 2016, Chun reunited with Noh Yoo-min and Lee Sung Jin to announce that NRG would be returning the following year to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut.

Chun Myung Hoon also shared anecdotes of meetings during his NRG days on the show, referring to the first Korean wave in South Korea. In the past, NRG members had a group meeting with all girl groups, but he said, "I didn't know we were meeting. He said he left without me."

When the MCs asked, "Would you like to meet the girl group we met?", Chun Myung Hoon answered "Yes" without hesitation, making everyone laugh and lifting the atmosphere giddily.
