Yonghwa stated, "This album has a much more mature sound than our previous albums, and the overall tone is softer. It is personally my favorite album of ours so far."

Jungshin said, "It is always my wish that many people would listen to our songs, and that wish has been continuously happening these days. I think it is because we are that much satisfied with what we have prepared, and we want to be accepted for our music."

He added, "I hope that CNBLUE's music will always be a part of many people's playlists in the future. When people look back on the year 2020, I hope that they will say, 'That one really good CNBLUE song came out that year'."

Minhyuk then shared, "It is fun to imagine what our music will sound like in another 10 years. I hope that over time, we become a more mature band."

CNBLUE members Lee Jung Shin, Jung Yong Hwa, and Kang Min Hyuk recently renewed their contracts with FNC Entertainment. They have been under the label since 2010. On October 21, the company announced that the three members had re-signed a contract with them and that the K-Pop boy band is planning to make a comeback with a new album by the end of this year.

The group's upcoming album will be CNBLUE's first release after three years and eight months since their seventh extended play entitled '7°CN', which was released on March 20, 2017. The EP consisted of six tracks, in which some of the members took part in writing the lyrics. In particular, Jung Yong Hwa was the one who wrote the album's lead single called 'Between Us' as well as the songs titled 'It's You', 'Manito' along with CNBLUE member Lee Jung Shin, and 'Royal Rumble'.

Lee Jong Hyun, a former member of CNBLUE, also participated in writing 'Calling You' and 'When I Was Young.' Following the release '7°CN ', the boy band held a few tours like 'CNBLUE Spring Live 2017 'Shake! Shake!' that took place in Tokyo, Aichi, and Osaka; and '2017 CNBLUE Live: Between Us' that was conducted in six countries from July 1 to December 9.

Also in 2017, the K-Pop boy band went on a hiatus because the members started to join the military. This year, all three members, Jungshin, Yonghwa, and Minhyuk, were discharged from their mandatory military service, signaling a new chapter of their music career.

Lee Jong Hyun, the fourth member of CNBLUE, departed from the group and the company in 2019 as he was involved in the Burning Sun scandal. He also completed his military service earlier this year.

Meanwhile, the remaining CNBLUE members are yet to announce the details about their upcoming comeback, so stay tuned!
