Stray Kids' Changbin shared his thoughts after he was eliminated from the rap competition.

Last October 16, the male idol tried out on the first preliminary round of Mnet's 'Show Me The Money' in which participants had to show their skills in just 60 seconds. According to Changbin, it was his dream to perform on stage, and that he is happy as an idol. He added that he wants to showcase his talent, hoping that people will say that there's someone in Stray Kids who's great at rapping.

And showcasing his rap skills, producer JUSTHIS passed him through the next round of the program. The producer stated that Changbin had the vibe of a rapper so he let him participate in the second match, which took place on October 30. On that day, the Stray Kids member once again showed off what he can do as a rapper, however, he was not able to impress all four judging teams and gave him a 'Fail', marking his elimination from the contest.

지금까지 쇼미더머니 참가자 돼끼 창빈이 응원해주고 걱정해준 우리 스테이 그리고 멤버들 너무 고맙고 사랑해요♡ #straykids #stay # A post shared by  Stray Kids (@realstraykids) on Oct 30, 2020 at 6:31pm PDT

On October 31, Changbin uploaded a photo of himself on Stray Kids' official Instagram account, together with a message regarding his experience in the rap competition.

The rapper stated, "I was able to gain a priceless experience through 'Show Me The Money' and learned a lot from it. It was a great opportunity for me to grow both as an idol rapper and as a rapper. Also, it provided me with a chance to judge myself; I was like a teacher for myself. And that is why I tried out, hehe."

He further stated, "I want to continue to show our Stay (Stray Kids' official fandom) better sides of me without losing this challenging mindset as a musician as well as a member of Stray Kids. Our Stay, who was worried so much about me competing on 'Show Me The Money', and who still cheered me on all this time, and also our members, thank you and I love you."

In other news, fellow Stray Kids member Hyunjin showed his support to Changbin even after he was removed from the show. Hyunjin posted a photo of Changbin via Stray Kids' Instagram account with the short message that says, "You were the best, and even during our busiest schedules, you went to the show's recording while we were all sleeping. Changbin-Hyung tore it up the best."

Hyunjin also included several hashtags in the post, such as #StrayKids, #LoveStay, #Hyuncam, #Changbin, #BestRapperEver, and #StrayKidsWin.

Changbin started as a member of the unit 3RACHA that was created by JYP Entertainment in 2016. Bang Chan and Han Jisung are the other members of the unit, who are also Stray Kids members at present. While they haven't officially debuted, 3RACHA produced several mixtapes and uploaded them on their official YouTube Channel.

On March 25, 2018, Changbin debuted as one of the main rappers of Stray Kids with the group's debut extended play called 'Mixtape'. This year, on June 17, the K-Pop boy group launched their very first studio album titled 'Go Live' together with the title track 'God's Menu'.
