CL shared what she hopes to achieve in the future with former 2NE1 members.

On October 31, the female idol appeared as a guest on KBS's 'Yoo Heel Yeol's Sketchbook.' On the program, the host, Yoo Heel Yeol, asked CL if there's a probability that 2NE1 would have a reunion.

She answered, "our situation and circumstances are all different at the moment, so it's a bit hard now, but I hope that it will be possible as well. Personally, we talk about it a lot. We talk about it among ourselves, that if the time comes, we'll be able to come together again."

The singer also shared that she still gets nervous when she sings on stage. CL stated, "I came here with the mindset of starting anew. It's the first time in a while that I'm launching new music, too, so my mindset has already changed. I would do 2NE1 promotions with the other members in the past, together with my solo promotions. Now, I'm really alone and working with a brand new team."

On the show, CL also performed a medley of 2NE1's hit songs like 'I Am the Best' and 'Lonely,' and her solo singles 'The Baddest Female,' 'THNX,' and 'HWA,' which is her latest track.

After 10 months of hiatus from the music industry, since her first extended play as a solo artist 'In the Name of Love' in December 2019, CL made her much-anticipated return with her new track 'HWA.' It was premiered in the popular American talk show 'The Late Late Show with James Corden' last October 29. Earlier that day, 'HWA' along with '5 STAR' was officially released.

But ahead of her new single release, CL dropped the music video for the track 'Post Up' on September 14. It serves as the intro song for her forthcoming album. The singer was the one who wrote 'Post Up,' which incorporates shout outs to her former 2NE1 members.

Meanwhile, CL's two new latest tracks were co-written by her former labelmate Tablo. According to CL, during a press conference broadcasted online, 'HWA' indicates a new beginning and a milestone in CL's identity.

Besides launching two new singles, the K-Pop idol will also release her first album as a solo artist on November 30. CL's upcoming album is called 'ALPHA.' On 'The Late Late Show with James Corden,' the host asked the singer what she found most exciting about her new album.

The female artist responded, "I mean, I've been a performer for as long as I can remember, but this is my first album. So, I'm excited about that, that I could be creative and free and share all my music and performance with my fans. Finally!"
