Upcoming Female Act Bling Bling Drops Concept Group Photo for Debut Album
New South Korean female act Bling Bling has shared more teaser photos for its forthcoming debut.
On November 1, a concept group photo of Bling Bling was uploaded on official SNS accounts of MAJOR9, the group's management agency. The pic shows all six members of the upcoming girl group showing off their swag and distinct charismas.
Ahead of the concept group photo, the Bling Bling members' concept shots were posted in the past week, starting with Yubin on October 27. Then, it was followed by Cha Juhyun, Marin, Choi Jieun, Narin, and Ayamy.
The company previously teased the group's debut last August 11 by sharing a short clip displaying its name and logo. Apart from that, MAJOR9 also unveiled a few of the Bling Bling members that same month.
The label posted a clip of Yubin covering Baek Yerin's 'Across the Universe,' a two-minute video of Choi Jieun singing Ariana Grande's 'Honeymoon Avenue,' and a short dance cover of Tinashe's 'Die A Little Bit' that was performed by Ayamy. Through these, the members' impressive vocals and excellent dancing skills are showcased.
On October 26 at midnight KST, MAJOR9 announced when Bling Bling would officially debut in the music industry with the launching of its debut album. The label uploaded a teaser image via its official SNS accounts. It shows the silhouettes of the six members lined up in a single row in various poses. The pic also unveils the upcoming girl group's official debut date - November 17 at 6 p.m. KST. On that same day, the agency also shared the official SNS accounts of the new girl group.
Bling Bling is the very first girl group of MAJOR9. The group is said to have been preparing for their debut for four years. It includes four Korean members, namely Yubin, Jieun, Juhyun, and Narin, and two Japanese members Ayamy and Marin.
Ahead of the teaser videos and photos, the upcoming girl group dropped several performances videos on its official YouTube channel. On July 20, Bling Bling uploaded a mashup dance cover of BTS' 'Fire' and NCT U's 'Boss.' Three days after, the group released the dance cover for Missy Elliott's 'Cool Off.' Then, on July 30, Bling Bling shared a performance clip of Tropkillaz's 'Bola Rebola.' In addition to these, the female act also uploaded short videos of each member, song covers, and more dance covers.
Founded in 2017, MAJOR9 is a South Korean entertainment company formed through the merging of three agencies, particularly The Vibe Entertainment, Gold Moon Entertainment, and Asakusa Games. The label is famous for being home to ballad artists such as VIBE, Ben, and the disbanded group 4MEN. KASPER, Big Brain, XRO, Im Se Jun, and Kim Dong Jun are the other singers under MAJOR9.
Meanwhile, girl group Bling Bling has already started the countdown to its official debut. Hence more promotional content would be unveiled until the day of its debut album's release.
