Red Velvet Joy Shares Apologetic Messages To Fans On Bubble
Red Velvet member Joy recently took to the Lysn Bubble application to message fans. There, she sent apologetic messages to fans and said she would continue to be honest with the ReveLuvs. Read more about it here.
Recently, Red Velvet member Joy took the Bubble application to apologize to their fans, the ReveLuvs, for waiting for her for so long. She reveals how apologetic she feels for the situation, as she reveals they will have to continue waiting. Her message reads,
"I do not know what to say. I did not know what I should have to do at first, but some days passed in which I just stopped everything. You guys have been waiting all the time, yet there will still be more and more waiting... All I can feel is apologetic. I am so sorry."
In another message, she tells fans that she has been self-reflecting. She looks back at how she was when she just debuted and only focused on achieving fame. Now, however, she has reflected on herself. Though she does not know how honest she can be with the fans, she promises that all she will do is continue to be honest with the ReveLuvs. Her message reads,
"I also debuted at the young age of 19, and in my immaturity, the only thing I focused on was my own achievements and fame. There were so many things I must not have caught on about then. Recently, I have been reflecting on myself. I am still uncertain of how much of the truth I can tell you, but for the Luvvies that have been watching over us from day one all the way to now, I have decided that I am going, being honest with you all."
Many fans are wondering if Joy's message hint at Red Velvet's extended hiatus following Irene's controversy.
Previously, Kang Kook Hwa took to Instagram to expose an unnamed female idol for her bad behavior. She did not reveal who the idol was but claimed she verbally attacked her on a shoot. She claims the idol did not greet her and immediately sat down and insulted her. Though she did not name who the idol was, she ended her post with #psycho and #monster, which caused people to speculate if it was a Red Velvet member.

It was ultimately reported to be Irene. SM Entertainment released a statement on the matter, and Irene made an apology on her Instagram. In her Instagram, she apologized for her past rude actions and words and expressed guilt over the pain she had caused others. She also apologized for disappointing fans and for causing hurt to those she previously worked with.

Following the hate, Korean netizens had also attacked Joy. Korean netizens claimed Joy had the same attitude as Irene and told her to 'start behaving' to avoid the same situation Irene is in now. They also tell her to start living kindly to protect the other members of Red Velvet.

People at the time also stepped up to defend Joy, saying that she had not done anything wrong. They also said that people cursing out Joy are crazy, as she was innocent in the situation. Fans also say that Joy could easily sue all those who post malicious comments.
