Nayeon unveiled what she did to sing significantly high notes.

South Korean girl group TWICE recently returned to the music scene on October 26 with a new Korean studio album called 'Eyes Wide Open' that features the lead single 'I Can't Stop Me.' The lead song is known for its extremely high pitch. Ever as one of the main vocalists of the group, Nayeon admitted that she finds the track pretty high.

On Nov. 6, Dispatch released a mini-interview video of TWICE's Nayeon, Jeongyeon, and Momo through its official Twitter account. In the interview, the members answered multiple questions, talked about their latest album, and the preparations they did for their comeback, including the time when they recorded the songs.

At one point, Nayeon was asked any memorable moment while recording the shared, "It was so difficult this time. Because we had many songs to record, especially for 'I Can't Stop Me,' the notes are so high."

So, what strategy did Nayeon do to hit the high notes of the song? She revealed, "So I sang it lying down." As odd as it may seem, lying down is a big help to sing better as the diaphragm becomes more relaxed. Also, that position creates more stable breathing, thus allowing a singer to hit high notes effortlessly.

Considering this and hearing TWICE Nayeon parts on 'I Can't Stop Me,' it can be clearly heard that the singer nailed it. No wonder why she's one of the main vocalists of the girl group.

After learning about the strategy she used, some netizens expressed their concern over the idol taking into account the fact that TWICE Nayeon has to sing live on stage while doing the intense choreography. Some wonder how she would be able to sing the part where she is supposed to lie down.

Other netizens even said that the track 'I Can't Stop Me' doesn't suit TWICE in the first place. In addition, several netizens hoped that the girl group would be able to perform songs that they could sing comfortably. Some even said that they want to listen to songs in which all members' voices can be heard.

Momo stated, "I was surrounded by sunflowers. But there were so many flies. We wanted to catch them, but no one could come and help me. So, I was so scared."

In other news, TWICE recently won first place on SBS's Inkigayo, prevailing over Im Chang Jung's 'Love Should Not Be Harsh on You' and Jang Bum June's 'Can't Sleep.' This marks the female act's fourth trophy with 'I Can't Stop Me.'

Furthermore, the music video for the latest single became the girl group's fastest MV to reach 100 million views. It was launched on October 26 and it hit such number of views on November 7 at 5:13 a.m. KST, which means it only took 11 days and 11 hours.
