MOMOLAND Drops More Teasers for Third Single Album 'Ready or Not'

MOMOLAND continues to tease fans with their upcoming comeback.

On Wednesday, Nov. 11, the South Korean girl group posted two vibrant teaser images on their official social media accounts. The MOMOLAND members were divided into two groups of three, with each trio being featured on separate teaser photos.

The first teaser shows Ahin, JooE, and Nancy, who seems to be busy preparing for a party. It can be seen that Ahin and Nancy are both holding a makeup brush to make JooE look gorgeous.

On the other hand, the second teaser features Hyebin, Nayun, and Jane who are sitting close together. Jane can be noticed hugging a brown-colored teddy bear, while a big white-colored teddy bear is placed behind her. The stuffed toy also seemed to be smiling for the camera. Contrary to the first photo, the three ladies seem to portray an after-party vibe.

Furthermore, on Tuesday, Nov. 10, MOMOLAND released several special spoiler videos of the new song "Ready or Not" as a way to express gratitude for their fans, Merry. The clips show each member during the photo shoot. That same day, the female act uploaded another set of teaser images, which display MOMOLAND members' unique charisma.

The single album 'Ready or Not' caught fans' attention more because of singer and producer PSY's participation, who previously said that he liked the song so much that he agreed to work with the group and take part in writing the lyrics of the single.

According to an official from MLD Entertainment, "With PSY's participation in the lyrics, MOMOLAND's new song has become more unique and complete. We expect it to be a global hit like 'BBoom BBoom' and 'BAAM.'"

What makes this third single album more special is that it was specially planned to be launched after MOMOLAND's fourth anniversary of debut. Hence, the new song would serve as a way to celebrate their four years together as a group.

"Ready or Not" marks MOMOLAND's first release after five months since June 11 when the all-girl band launched a special extended play titled 'Starry Night.' Additionally, it marks the group's second album as a six-member group.

'Starry Night' is MOMOLAND's first extended play as a sextet since the departure of Taeha and Yeonwoo in November 2019 and Daisy in May this year. The EP is composed of five tracks, including the title track 'Starry Night' and its English and instrumental versions.

MOMOLAND participated in the lyric-writing process of 'Starry Night' together with Bull$EyE, Ondine, real-fantasy, and Kim Do Da Ri. The track is about wanting to express one's feelings on a starry night. The song debuted at No. 21 on Gaon Album Chart.

The K-Pop girl group's last release as a nine-member band was their fourth EP 'Fun to the World' featuring its lead single "BAAM," released in June 2018.Meanwhile, the third single album, "Ready or Not," is set to be launched on Nov. 17 at 6:00 p.m. KST, alongside the title track's music video.
