PENTAGON Launch Their Very Own Podcast With DIVE Studios + WATCH First Episode Here

On Tuesday, Nov. 10, PENTAGON dropped a new teaser through the official Youtube channel of DIVE Studios, announcing their brand new podcast, titled "PENTAGON's Jack Pod."

DIVE Studios is a podcast network focused on the K-Pop industry and Korean entertainment. The first-ever show on its network was hosted by Eric Nam and was called "K-Pop Daebak Show." Some other K-Pop podcast shows include "Nonsensible," "The Tablo Podcast," "What Would Jamie Do?," "I Think You're Dope w/ Eric Nam," "How Did I Get Here w/ Jae of Day6," "Commit Or Quit," and "The Purple Podcast."

Fans can expect new and fun content from the PENTAGON podcast and look forward to seeing new sides of the members that haven't been shown before. Wooseok was also the one who created the logo for their Jack Pod. For international fans, full-length videos of the podcast episodes, subtitled in English, will be available on the DIVE Studios Podcasts Youtube channel. As such, fans are super excited to finally see the members of PENTAGON get candid about various topics.

On Wednesday, Nov 11, PENTAGON released the first-ever episode of their podcast, and it is already racking up a huge number of views as fans get to know about PENTAGON straight from their own mouth.

Meanwhile, on Oct. 20, Cube Entertainment released the official poster of "2020 PENTAGON ONLINE CONCERT WE L:VE" through Pentagon's official SNS channel and global fan site U CUBE.

In the released poster, Pentagon can be seen in a warm atmosphere leaning against each other with a backdrop of the Milky Way behind them as daisy petals fly all around. Pentagon's online concert is an extension of their 10th mini-album "WE:TH" which will be released on Thursday, Oct. 12. The concert is expected to showcase Pentagon's various talents and trend online with the keyword "L:VE."

Additionally, the group's international fans are thrilled to see the special stages planned on Pentagon's live concert. "WE L:VE" will be broadcasted on Nov. 29 at 3:00 P.M. KST. Tickets have been available for purchase at Interpark Tickets since 2:00 PM KST on Oct. 26.

Pentagon is a South Korean multinational boy band formed by Cube Entertainment in 2016. The group consists of nine members: Jinho, Hui, Hongseok, Shinwon, Yeo One, Yan An, Yuto, Kino, and Wooseok. Originally composed of ten members, E'Dawn left the group and the record label on November 14, 2018. They were introduced through the Mnet survival show Pentagon Maker. Pentagon released their self-titled debut EP on October 10, 2016.

On Oct. 12, Pentagon released their tenth extended play, WE:TH, as an eight-member group without the oldest member Jinho, who is completing his mandatory military service. The lead single, "Daisy," is an alternative rock song with a trendy yet intense sound, produced by Pentagon members Hui and Wooseok and composer Nathan. The album consists of six songs, including "I'm Here," a self-composed solo song by Jinho. Pentagon also held a showcase for releasing their 10th mini-album WE:TH at the Blue Square iMarket Hall in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, and revealed the new song stage.

Commercially, the album recorded 64,045 copies of one-week sales, making Pentagon's best selling work since debut. It debuted and charted at number 4 on the Gaon Album Chart, giving them their fourth top 4 hits.

We:the topped the iTunes Top Albums chart in 9 countries, including Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Argentina, Estonia, Ecuador, Cambodia, Colombia, Peru, and Portugal. The album also ranked second on the iTunes Worldwide Album Chart, becoming their highest record on that platform. According to Billboard chart released on Oct.13, Pentagon re-entered at number 33 on the Billboard Social 50 chart due to the announcement of their comeback, variety of teasing contents related to the new release, starting with interview films, tracklist, concept image, audio teaser, music video teaser, etc., gaining hot interest from global fans.

According to Hanteo, We:th, which was released on Oct. 12, recorded an initial sales of 64,045 copies. The number of sales increases twice from the initial sales of their first studio album, Universe: The Black Hall, released in February 2020.

On the chart issue dated October 11-17, the album debuted and landed at number 4 on the Gaon Album Chart and Gaon Retail Album with 49,134 units. The group also re-entered at number 14 on Gaon Social Chart 2.0 since Week 50 of 2019.
