The second lineup was revealed on Wednesday, Nov.11, to be GFRIEND and TXT. Meanwhile, according to an exclusive media outlet report on the same day, SEVENTEEN will not attend the "2021 New Year's Eve Live" due to a conflicting schedule. On Nov. 12, the rest of the line-up including BTS, Lee Hyun and BUMZU has been revealed.

Big Hit Labels first announced "2021 NEW YEAR'S EVE LIVE presented by Weverse" through Weverse on Tuesday, Nov 10. Big Hit Labels said, "'2021 NEW YEAR'S EVE LIVE presented by Weverse' will be held at the same time as online live streaming and offline performance on Dec. 31. It is the first concert to bring all of Big Hit Labels' artists in one place. We will proceed happily with the New Year's countdown. The first lineup released today are NU'EST and ENHYPEN." Big Hit Labels said, "Offline performances are scheduled to be sold on a limited basis following the distance between audience seats that comply with the local government's guidelines for the prevention of infection at the venue." Big Hit labels include NU'EST, BTS, GFRIEND, Seventeen, Tomorrow by Together, and ENHYPEN.

Fans are excited about the first lineup just much as they are about the other lineups' revelation. Fans are especially excited about the prospect of a BigHit family concert, especially on New Year's Eve.

Big Hit Entertainment Co., Ltd. is a South Korean entertainment company established in 2005 by Bang Si-hyuk. It currently manages soloist Lee Hyun and idol groups BTS and TXT. The company has multiple subsidiaries, including Source Music, and is the largest shareholder in Pledis Entertainment.

In May 2020, Big Hit became the majority shareholder of Pledis Entertainment. Big Hit announced that the record label would retain its independence, but its artists (which include boy bands NU'EST and Seventeen) would be more widely promoted outside of South Korea. Big Hit Entertainment currently operates as a private company. Bang Si-hyuk remains the largest shareholder of its stock. In March 2017, the Korean mobile gaming company Netmarble acquired the second largest percentage of the company, paying a reported 201.4B KRW (191.8M USD) for 25.71%.

The CEO of Netmarble, Bang Joon-hyuk, and Bang Si-hyuk are cousins. In October 2018, private investment firm STIC Investments received an undisclosed share of Big Hit Entertainment, an investment of roughly 104B KRW (~93M USD). Big Hit commenced plans to go public on May 21, applying for a pre-IPO consultation with the Korea Exchange. This is required under South Korean law before a company can file paperwork for an IPO. One week later, the company filed for a preliminary review of its planned IPO. On Oct. 15, Big Hit was listed in the KOSPI index and began trading stocks.
